# Money DNA

> The patterns behind your earning posts: best platform, caption length, whether links and media help you, and your best day. Read by your agent.

**Money DNA** answers *why* your posts make money. It looks only at posts with matched revenue, finds what they have in common, and turns that into plain-language rules for your account rather than generic advice. It's available to your AI agent as [`get_money_dna`](/agents/tools-reference#get_money_dna) and also feeds the [revenue forecast](/guides/revenue-forecast) in the composer and Autopilot's drafting. It needs [revenue attribution](/guides/turn-on-revenue-attribution) on.

## What it reports

Up to five insights, each with a headline metric and a one-line explanation:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Your money platform" icon="crown">
    The platform that has driven the most attributed revenue.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Ideal length" icon="ruler">
    Whether short (under 120 characters), medium (120 to 500) or long (500+) posts earn the most for you.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Do links pay off?" icon="link">
    Whether posts with a link out-earn those without, and by how much.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Does media sell?" icon="image">
    Whether posts with an image or video earn more than plain text for you.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Your best day" icon="calendar-day">
    The weekday your posts have earned the most.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Why it stays quiet at first

It needs at least **3 earning posts** before it reports a pattern, and each comparison needs posts on both sides. Below that it tells you how many earning posts you have so far rather than inventing precision.
