The switch
Two places set it:- During setup, the How will you use seenpaid? step: Scheduling (off) or Scheduling + revenue (on).
- Any time later, Settings → Attribution, the first card on the page.
What changes when it’s on
Everything else (composer, calendar, bulk upload, engagement, autopilot, the agent’s scheduling tools) is identical either way.
Set it up
1
Turn it on
Settings → Attribution, flip the switch. Links are tracked from your next publish.
2
Connect a revenue source
On the same page, connect Stripe (sign in and authorize) or one of Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Whop, Shopify, Paddle, Polar or Dodo Payments (paste a webhook URL into that provider). See Connect a revenue source.
3
Install the pixel, if you sell on your own site
One script tag on your site carries the tracking id into checkout. You can skip this if buyers pay straight from a Stripe Payment Link. See Track your sales.
Choose a link mode
Also under Settings → Attribution:- Redirect (default): your link becomes
go.seenpaid.com/r/<id>, which logs the click and forwards to your page. - Your own URL: your link stays yours with
?cp_tid=<id>appended, and the pixel on your site reports the click. Requires the pixel to be installed. Destinations that can’t run the pixel (Stripe Payment Links, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy pages) stay on the redirect link regardless, or the sale could never be matched.
On Instagram and TikTok caption links aren’t clickable, so tracked links go on your bio page instead.
Honest by design
seenpaid never guesses a match. A payment with no tracking id, or one that doesn’t resolve to a click, is recorded as revenue but left unattributed. The Sales traced to a post figure on Results shows the share it could trace, so a gap in your setup is always visible. Full mechanics: How attribution works.Connect a revenue source
Stripe and seven other payment tools.
